A glass surface may seem shiny and perfectly smooth. But when studied through a microscope, it looks more like a moonscape, with little mountains and craters. This is the reason glass can get really dirty and hard to clean.
Newly placed glass is clear and easy to clean. But especially when applied on your superyacht, glass is subject to sea-air and with that also salt, dirt, chalk etc. These contaminants fill the cavities in the window panes and react chemically with the glass, thus resulting in stains and discolouring, deep in the glass.
Once the pollution is stuck tightly into the pores of the glass, corrosion amplifies the problem. In a matter of weeks the sea and the ocean damage your glass, causing bad visibility and clarity.

Our method is based on thorough (deep)cleaning of the glass, renovation if necessary and application of Glass Protector. All this being done by trained and skilled hands. The products we use are environment-friendly, non-aggressive to other materials and powerful.
Glass Protector – like fluid glass – fills the holes and pores of the glass resulting in a smooth, invisible layer that protects your glass and repels dirt. This layer is a permanent armour and keeps your glass clean and bright. For interior glass this is a permanent solution. For exterior glass we advise you to apply Glass Protector every three to five years, depending on the general degradation, the seas you sail and the way you maintain your glass surfaces. For bridgewindows it may be necessary to apply Glass Protector every year.
After the application of Glass Protector maintenance is an easy job. You only have to wipe off the drops of water, carriers of contaminants, using mild cleaners. You will find that maintenance-time will drop back as to 10 percent of the time you and your crew spend now. Think about what you can do with all that time!
