Product Description
Our CS Removal Gel is a specialized chemical gel containing 5% hydrofluoric acid, designed for the efficient removal of ceramic coatings. However, it’s crucial to handle this gel with care, as contact with glass or stainless steel can cause irreversible etching, necessitating replacement.

Use
Protection Measures:
Glass Protection: Before application, all glass surfaces must be inspected for existing damage. Any identified damage should be marked, numbered, and photographed. These photos should be uploaded to PinPoint Works for documentation. The glass is then protected by our team.
Stainless Steel Protection: Similar to glass, all stainless-steel surfaces must be inspected, documented, and protected.
The protection of the vessel is a meticulous process that requires significant labour and time. Ensuring that all glass and stainless-steel surfaces are adequately protected is paramount to prevent damage during the ceramic removal process.
By following these stringent protection measures, we ensure the safety and integrity of your superyacht during the ceramic removal and repainting process.
Application
PRODUCT APPLICATION / TOOLS
Follow PPE Guidelines and always ensure correct PPE is worn at all times. Ensure all areas that are not being removed are completely covered using vinyl sheeting. This is especially important with glass and metal surfaces as the gel can cause pitting in the glass as well as appearance change to metal surfaces.
For best results apply generously to the area requiring removal using a brush or roller ensuring all areas to be removed are coated. Leave the gel on the surface for 2-4 hours ensuring the gel remains wet on the surface.
