Maintenance

Maintenance

Surfaces coated with 10 Micron Ceramic Coating can be cleaned with normal boat soap in the pH range 3 – 12 range. Strong (mineral) acids or alkalis should be avoided and are also unnecessary as neutral cleaners are sufficient to clean surfaces coated with 10 Micron Ceramic Coating.

REMOVAL

10 Micron Ceramic Coating can easily be removed using our specially formulated removal gel. This gel does not affect paint and gel coats. The gel gently breaks down the ceramic resin in the clear coat leaving the underlying surface ready to be sanded normally prior to a repainting programme. This process is quick and easy.
